If Authors Were Bikers...

If Authors Were Bikers Then Riders Would Write...
(AND, we probably would have read the following, in school...)

* "Portrait of the Biker as a Young Squid" by James Joyce

* "The Bike Also Kickstarts" by Hemingway

* "Oliver's Twisties" by Dickens

( We'd prob all have memorized the following famous quotes)

* Into the Valley of Death, rode the GS500 .... Tennyson

* Because I would not brake for Death
but countersteered away
He cursed, gave chase and swiped at me
but hit a Chevrolet .... Emily Dickinson

* And without cops, the roads! .... Milton on Paradise

* Shall I compare thee to a ZX-9? .... Shakespeare

( Surely even the Bible would have been better)

* Crank and the throttle shall be opened, Lean and ye shall turn...

* Blessed are the squids, for they shall scrape peg in the twisties. Blessed are the cruisers, for they shall be comfortable. Blessed are newbies on V-maxes, for they shall meet God.

(And modern interpretations of ancient traditions would be far more interesting to read)

From the impressionist pen of Jean Sepa:

"Rush hour jam, carmelade, autoberry preserves paste the pavement EXCEPT Modern Moses riding the mechanical staff Parts the Red Sea of taillights...

"This time the enemy lies frozen all around, the Egyptians Helpless to stop the blessed exodus God's Headlight beams down, brights on, decreeing, 'Let My Bikers Go!'"
